PRIVACY POLICY

The short version: Mayor Hotline has no sign-up and never asks for your name, email or phone number. The app creates a random ID for your install so your scores and history stick around. We use that ID, your gameplay and some usage and crash data to run and improve the game. You can delete all of it from Settings.
WHAT WE COLLECT

We don't collect your location, contacts, photos, advertising identifier or payment details, and we don't show ads.
HOW YOUR PLANS ARE SCORED
When you submit a plan, its text and the current crisis are sent to our server and passed to an AI model (“Jev”) that judges what the plan would do. Please don't type personal information into your plans. They're about running a pretend city.
WHO PROCESSES YOUR DATA
We use these service providers, and only for the purposes above:
- Cloudflare: hosts our server and stores game data (history, leaderboard, names).
- PostHog (United States): usage analytics and session replays.
- Sentry (United States): crash and error reporting.
- Jev: AI scoring of the plans you submit.
We don't sell your data or share it for advertising.
WHAT OTHER PLAYERS SEE
If you finish a term with a leaderboard score, your mayor name and score appear on the public leaderboard. Nothing else about you is shown to other players.
HOW LONG WE KEEP IT
Game data is kept until you delete it. Analytics and crash data are kept for as long as they're useful for improving the game, up to the retention limits of those providers.
DELETING YOUR DATA
In the app, go to Settings → Delete Account. This deletes your history, leaderboard entries and mayor name from our server and gives your install a fresh device ID. To also have analytics and crash data tied to your old ID removed, email us with the Account ID shown in Settings.
CHILDREN
Mayor Hotline isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you think a child has used the app and want their data removed, contact us.
CHANGES
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
